Short version: the application has no accounts, analytics or advertising. Your measurements and saved records stay on your device. The tuning features work offline; the only network use is Apple's App Store handling your purchase.

Microphone

The application uses the microphone to measure the pitch, inharmonicity and sound characteristics of the piano in real time. Audio is processed on the device and is not recorded to a file, stored or transmitted.

The only exception is the Voice Memo feature. It records a note only when you request it, stores the recording on your device with the instrument profile and lets you delete it at any time.

Camera

The Photos feature takes pictures of an instrument only when you press the camera button. Photos are stored on the device inside the application's own library and are not uploaded. The application does not access your photo library.

Data you create

Instrument profiles, tuning curves, measurement history, notes, voice memos and photos are stored in the application's private storage on your device. At your request, Backup combines them into one file and passes it to the standard iOS share sheet. You decide where that exported file is sent.

Purchases

The full version is unlocked with a subscription or a one-time purchase. Payments and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. To confirm what you have unlocked, the application checks your purchase status with Apple. This exchange contains no personal data and is not shared with us — we never see your name, email or payment details.

What the application does not do

Website analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, pages viewed, referral and campaign sources, general device and browser information, approximate region, and clicks that lead to the App Store. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Analytics is not loaded until they select “Allow analytics”. Elsewhere, it loads automatically where consent is not required. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization remain disabled for everyone.

To decide whether a consent prompt is required, the site requests a two-letter country code from the Country geolocation service. The request sends no cookies or credentials, Country states that it does not log requests, and we retain neither the visitor's IP address nor country. Only the result “regulated region” or “other region” is kept in session storage for the current browser tab. If this lookup fails, the site shows the consent prompt.

If you make an analytics choice, it is saved in your browser's local storage. Any visitor can review or withdraw analytics through the “Privacy choices” button. Withdrawing consent stops further analytics collection and removes Google Analytics cookies accessible to this website. For details about Google's processing, see the Google Privacy Policy.

Website analytics are separate from the application; the application itself contains no analytics or tracking SDKs.

Children

The application does not collect data from any user, including children.
